What is the U-Multirank?
The U-Multirank was introduced by the European Commission in 2014 in response to the various global rankings (QS, THE, ARWU,...) that only publish league tables of the world’s ’top’ 100 universities based on composite scores.
It is the first global ranking allowing users - students, researchers and policy makers - to easily compare universities’ performance according to five dimensions (research performance, teaching and learning, knowledge transfer, international orientation and regional engagement). For the more than 35 indicators universities are graded from ’A’ (very good) to ’E’ (weak).
