Description
Participate in the project "Poverty and social security in time of crisis - lessons (to be) learned during the covid19 pandemic". The project is part of the National Research Program "Covid-19 in Society" (NRP 80). It will last three years and will be carried out by an interdisciplinary team.
Work with large data sets, process linked administrative data and perform statistical analyses
Create data visualizations
Write scientific articles
As part of your project work, you will be pursuing a doctorate at a Swiss university. Supervision opportunities are available.
Requirements
Master’s degree (final grade of at least 5.0) in social sciences (sociology, economics or political science)
Interest in social and socio-political issues
Motivation to contribute to the improvement of the social security system for socially disadvantaged people
Good knowledge of data preparation and analysis with R (tidyverse)
Good to very good knowledge of German and English
