Job description . Project description:

The project wil take advantage of human iPSC, hepatic cell models, mouse models, pharmacological approaches and human liver specimens to determine the molecular mechanisms by which obesity drives the development of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis and explore novel approaches for combating the development of obesity-associated liver dysfunction.

    Profile .g. qPCR, CRISPR/Cas9 and RNAseq), immunohistochemical and biochemical techniques wil be advantageous ü Experience with mouse handling and experimentation wil be advantageous ü Experience with mouse models of obesity/diabetes/liver dysfunction wil be advantageous ü Experience with iPSC culture and/or mass spectrometry wil be advantageous ü The candidate should be capable of both work independently and collaboratively in a team ü Excel ent organizational and time management skil s ü Excel ent skil s in spoken and written English ü High motivation, flexibility as wel as innovate and creative thinking are a must Interested
