TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN THE DEPARTMENT OF BIOCHEMISTRY

The Department of Biochemistry has an opening for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in a highly dynamic and stimulating research environment, recognized for its excellence in interdisciplinary research of fundamental biological processes at all scales of life.

Description

Candidates pursuing internationally recognized research in quantitative biology and biochemistry are encouraged to apply, including candidates using chemistry or physics approaches. We are seeking for candidates who will bring new expertise, complementary approaches to synergize with the groups of the Department. The search is not limited to a specific field. The successful candidate is expected to develop an innovative research program at the highest international level and secure external funding.

Duties include teaching in Biochemistry at the Bachelor, Master and Doctoral levels both in French and English, as well as management and organizational tasks within the Department.

Requirements

FORMAL REQUIREMENTS: PhD degree or equivalent.
