Join the lecture on 20 May by Sir Fraser Stoddart, winner Nobel Prize Chemistry 2016

On 20 May 2019, Sir Fraser Stoddart (winner Nobel Prize Chemistry) will give a lecture at Ghent University about Science for Sustainable Development.

In 2016, Sir James Fraser Stoddart (Northwestern University, US) won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his part in designing a molecular machine. Now he travels around the world to inspire young chemists. On Twitter, @sirfrasersays spreads the word about the beauty of chemistry.

On 20 May 2019 he will give a lecture in Ghent about Science for Sustainable Development.

After his lecture, the winners of our alumni video contest will present their winning video on how their studies at Ghent University have contributed to achieve one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals.
