Today Tuesday 26 September at 8 a.m. the resultst of the second and last voting round of the elections for a new rector and vice-rector at our university were unlocked.
The results show that Rik Van de Walle and Mieke Van Herreweghe obtained amply the necessary majority of the votes.
At 10.30 a.m. the Board of Governors will assemble; this is determined by decree. The elected team will be nominated to the board members, after which the official appointment will follow if a two-third majority is reached. ...
