Postdoctoral Scientist - JDRF funded project - Molecular mechanisms of autoimmune diabetesFaculté de Médecine The Signal Transduction and Metabolism Laboratory led by Dr Esteban Gurzov is seeking highly motivated post-doctoral researchers to develop novel methods to diagnose type 1 diabetes, and to explore the pathophysiological mechanisms contributing to autoimmune diabetes. The successful applicant will join the Laboratoire de Gastroentérologie Expérimental et Endotools/ULB Faculty of Medicine (?url=www.stmlaboratoy.com&module=jobs&id=8374" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">?url=www.stmlaboratoy.com&module=jobs&id=8374" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.stmlaboratoy.com), characterised by an impressive track record in research excellence. Project description: The project will take advantage of human iPSC, diabetes cell models, mouse models, pharmacological approaches and human specimens to determine the molecular mechanisms by which tyrosine phosphatases contribute to the development of autoimmune diabetes and to explore novel approaches for combating type 1 diabetes. | |
