Renovation of the "Janson", ULB’s emblematic building: the designer is chosen

Often referred to as "the Janson", in reference to the auditorium to which it gives access, Building J on the Solbosch campus first housed the "Maison des étudiants" erected in 1928 facing Avenue Fr. Roosevelt, before gradually being reserved for various teaching functions with the addition of the "Paul-Émile Janson" auditorium in 1958. Classified as a heritage monument in 2017, this building complex now requires in-depth restoration and requalification.

Israel/Palestine lecture series: understanding the stakes in the conflict

Once a month, on Friday evenings, this lecture series offers an opportunity to learn, debate and share knowledge about the conflict between the State of Israel and Palestine. It’s also an opportunity to reflect on the impact of the conflict on European society and on young people in Brussels. This cycle is the fruit of a partnership between ULB and the non-profit organization Actions in the Mediterranean (AIM). Public lectures will be given by international experts, practitioners and ULB professors.

In response, the Université libre de Bruxelles is launching the Pauses actives program: short, dynamic modules designed to get you moving for a few minutes between classes, improve concentration and preserve your health.
